Busted!, No Need to Run!! Options

Well Here it is! Beautiful Tuesday night after a long hard day at the office and just being a Bad day and all I decided to have some fun! Here in STL the Interstates are like 4-5 lanes and sometime have traffic and other times it doesn't. just luck of the draw.
I get off 270 and get on 44 going east (They just refinished the road). There seems to be nobody on the interstate. I am like ahhhh a gift from god for having a bad day! So it is about 10 something and 71 outside. I have ACDC blaring and the windows down loving the moment. I know I have about 12 miles to my exit so I just let it go!
1st...... 2nd........ 3rd........ 4th....... BRAKES!!!!!!! As I round a decent corner there is the MAN! I saw the reflective Tape and just slammed on them. I had no better idea. As I pass him I look down.... 81mph. Ooops! I see him put his headlights on and pull on the Interstate. Damn! there is nobody beside a van that I was coming up to pretty fast so I knew it was for me. To early for the donut shop run! So I just pull over and wait for him. Sure as flies on Shit he comes up and turns his lights on. I have all the stuff ready and he just laughs and says thanx for pulling over for him. I Kind of chuckled in that is there any chance in hell I can get out of this way. Since I have ILL plates and License he asked the usual do you live here and all that junk and I say I am just Traveling for my Job blah blah blah. Well he leaves and I turn up the radio and just sit for a while and take in the fresh air. He comes back and asks "how fast do you think you were going?" I was Honest, No point in lying with that damn Radar Gun! So I said After I the the brakes I think about 80mph and he laughs because I was being honest. His reply was I clocked you going 92 from the rear gun to 80 from the front gun. For some reason we were both laughing and he said do you know this is a 55mph zone! I finally did the math and my eyes get real big he says I will help you out and will reduce it for you. Lets say a 60mph zone and we will split the two radar guns at 85! so it wont look so bad when you have to go to court.
That is still 25mph over though. GRRRR. but it beats the 37MPH I should have got! Man I have to get a Geo Metro working on only 3 pistons or something!!!
