The 20G looks great on the coffee table but doesn't seem to fit correctly in the engine bay. Anyone familiar with the install on one of these badboys? The outlet seems to head right into the block or into the top motor mount. Do I need a spacer? It doesn't have the weld on 90degree bend for a 2G so I thought it would be a direct install. Little did I know.

Basicly it installs cleanly onto the engine on the stand. Just not into the engine bay itself. I'm calling turbotrix in the AM but thought I'd look for some first hand tips on here as well. Oh, and DSMtalk is offline so I'm nashing my teeth for now looking for the solution.

Just when I thought the day of the running engine was near. mad.gif

Thanks,
Travis the 20G turbocharged idiot (that's a lot of idiocy)

I got a solution for ya Travis...

Give me your 20g, I'll figure out how to mount it on my car, and you can have my 14b, which I know will mount right up to your car. tongue.gif

Gee thanks Rob, you're such a pal. Hey, how about I hook you up with some nifty automatic seatbelts to trade for those pesky harnesses you've got? Just as a way of thanking you for the kind offer you know. biggrin.gif
