Just curious if anyone has messed around with building a really torquey 4cyl engine for a hauler. Would love to build up something with a really long stroke and low spooling turbo for pulling. Obviously you can do it easier with a v6/v8, but want something with solid enough torque and good economy.

I have a little mazda b2200 black pickup with a tow package.. Body is rust free, and would make a perfect chasis for someone wanting to toss a little cummins turbo 4 cyclinder in.
