Hey guys, i recently installed an act 2100. i have a concern. i was out bleeding the clutch system today when i noticed that when my clutch is not pressed the transaxle makes a noise. its nothing loud or anything, the only reason i heard it was because i was underneath the car while it was started. its a constant noise, maybe the throwout bearing or something, but i was kinda confused because shouldn't the tob make noise when the clutch is pressed if it makes any noise/sound at all? what im experiencing is it normal or what? im afraid to drive the car because of this. btw, this is on a 90 fwd 2100 equipped with a resurfaced .609 step height stock flywheel. thanks.

sounds like the TOB to me. When you push in the clutch, you're putting pressure on the TOB so you won't hear the noise.

so, is this noise normal? im thinking i should take off the boot for the clutch fork and then look to see exactly where this noise is coming from.
