As kris so eloquently pointed out, yes spamming on that thread is not my style. So just to let the information spread throughtout the Import community: Magnadyne Performance has opened up shop. Our website should be launching shortly at such time we will have an 8000 part online catalog available to browse through.
MP has been around since '98 which you'll note is 3 years before Fast and the Furious and therefore much longer than any other import performance shop around Central Illinois save one. Because we've been around so long our prices are very hard to beat, in fact if you bring in a price on something you want I can more than likely beat that price. The boss, Nick Grant, lives in Bloomington; and the mechanics, Cliff Bouchez lives in Washington, and myself Brian Hughes living in Morton, are all capable of doing the installs on most anything we sell at our present garage behind Cliff's house in Washington. At present the shop is somewhat unofficial. I'd prefer to keep any visits to a business level since we're not really set up the way Nick would prefer. If you have questions or want parts or want us to work on something for you e-mail me directly please and we'll work that out. BannoVR4@hotmail.com There's much more to tell, but for the moment we're just getting our footing, since we've been around for a while now we're not new to business; but this is the first time MP has made a real bid for the Import Performance market in Central Illinois.

So, has anyone here ever installed a full set of these little buggers?
I have the box in front of me, and after reading the FAQ it seems fairly simple and straight forward. However, I've done nearly everything that can be done to a car's suspension but never had to replace these in a DSM before. The FAQ makes it out to be a PIA for basic mechanics so i'm not sure what to think, between the factory manuel, the FAQ, the Haynes book, and my own experience i'm confused as to what i'm in for here. If anyone has experience here that'd be useful, otherwise i guess i'm going at it tomorrow ![]() |
