what is happening

ok i have a 98 eclipse gsx slightly modded . Intake, boost controller, hard pipe,type S blow off , underive pully, k&n you know the starters i am still running 15 psi of boost. well i was leaving work when it was just starting to really get cold in dec. well I let it warm a little bit and started to take off i noticed it was running real good i went through first gear about 4 k and went to 2nd and was at about 4 k again and boosting a little over 16 psi then the car just got real quiet and fell on its face then lunged forward and then it fell again and then finally started to resume normal driving again. well i thought that at first it was because it was so cold that i was able to make more boost because the dencer air. so i turned down the boost a little back to 14 psi and i havn't had it again.

well I just got a big T 28 to replace the T25. I started to think will i have the problem more and more and what could it be. Was it spark blow out well i checked the eridum plugs gapped at .29 there ok so maybe it was fuel cut that i don't know. I have not upgraded my fuel system at all (Yet). so i asked my buddy who has the same problem all the time on his 95 talonTsi> He gets the surge at at 12 Psi and he has a upgraded fuel sys. He also has more mods than i do as well. what is this problem that i had, and my buddy is constantly getting. I am afraid i will get it more often with the bigger turbo. I need to do somthing to stop this befor it gets as bad as my buddies who cant understand it either only it doesn't do it all the time. It"s an intermitten kind of problem. All i know its can't be good on the car . Please what is this? is this common when starting to build a dsm

clutch questions

i have a 98 gsx and i am looking at a gripforce F1 racing stage 3 clutch i have never heard of it i was wondering if you guys have, and if its any good. i just bought a findaza 8 lb flywheel and i wanted to get a nice clutch for it and it is a 6 point clutch disk, it looks ok but i just wanted to get another persons advice on it first. I will also be looking for a place to take it to have it installed somewhere where they know what they are doing and around peoria area and reasonable on price. I know i think i am asking for a bit much but i need all the help i can get. thanks in advance

oil presure

ok here is the problem I am having or it maybe not a problem at all i put in an aftermarket oil presure guage in my 98 gsx and i don't think its right. it is electronic. the installing of was fairly easy. one wire to 12 v hot off ignition, one wire to ground, one to the new sending unit. ok i have it in my new pod all things checked now start OHHH sh^& i have 5lb at idle and dropping to 1 and at normal running i have 75 lbs of presure and if i get in to it a little 100lbs . then after i got the car warmed up the normal running went to about 60 lbs and idel was 0 lbs and getting in to it is still about 90 lbs. i have no refrence to what is normal oil presure. can some one tell me if this is right or wrong what is the normal presure for these cars or do i have somthing wired wrong please any thoughts will he most helpfull. and if anyone elce has ever put in an autometer oil presure i would like to here the results you have had

boost controller

98 Gsx) hey this is a question for the biggest gearheads>> ok i want to install a boost controller its a turbo xs. the install is not hard but i got to thinking about the factory boost selenoid and how it won't be used. Ok if that is the case then won't the computer think thats its opening at 14 lbs and the new controller is holding it closed till about say 16 lbs. will that trick the computer in to only mapping out gass for 14 lbs and not 16 and i will lean out a bit and will the computer then as a last resort pull timming and in doing so i will not make anymore hP i will just hurt my cars engine. to help you out i have only the basic aftermarket items intake , hard pipe and free mods. I do have a T 28 ging to be going in soon will that just compound the problem what do i need to do or think about or will the computer allow for the extra boost . if that is so do we have a learnning ecu. I am sorry to run on like this I just really want to do this right and safe parts arn't cheep!!

bad vibes

what the hell did they do to my car . ok here is the scoop i took my car a 98 gxs in to get some things taken care of first my timming belt and balancer belt and a coulpe other things elce too. Like getting it alined and a wheel stud put in just your little things i could do but didn't want to. so here is what happened they finished my car about 7 hours later and when i got it back and started it up the thing iddled real rough. and i was not pulling the 17 Lbs of vac. on my boost guage only 11 so that told my the timming was off i took it back also but befor i could get turned around i noticed the car was real loud now like i had no muffler this happened all the way through the rpm range. i took it right back and they said they would get it first thing the next day and they did. It was off one tooth on the front cam and the vac went back up to the normal 17 lbs and the car was iddling better so i thought cool they got it right. well wrong there was still the loud noise through the whole rpm range and as you get up to 4 to 6 K rpms it gets real bad and loud i have stock exhaust so its not loud at all and it vibrates somthing horrable they say that it seams ok to them but this is not right i know my can and i am afraid to drive it for fear it will vibrate apart while i am driving so they have it again and will look at it monday . if any of you know why it might be doing this vibs i will be more that greatfull to hear it . i personal think that they didn't get the balanser lined up right. everything that i could see looked allright but i am not the best to ask about this which is the reason it was take in to the shop in the first place PLEASE help me if you can why the bad vibs
