Need help with 1992 laser AWD!!

I have a 1992 laser AWD turbo. I bought it recently and was gonna fix it and race it, but changed my mind and need some help. The trans has NO first or second gear. All others are fine. Has hesitation under load.....I think the ecu needs replaced. Last, there is a slight oil leak which I think is the oil pan gasket. The car is a 6-bolt/4-bolt with only 89,XXX miles!! Its super clean in and out and has some minor paint fading and 1 small dent in the drivers door, thermal cat-back, newer yoko tires and more. So.......do I:

-sell the car as is for $1200

-fix the trans and try to sell for $2000 or so?

-try and fix everything?

I really need the car gone to make room for my new project!! Anyone have advice or wanna come pick it up? Clean title in hand!!

1994 talon DL for sale $1500

1994 talon DL for sale. Timing belt broke, so has used engine installed. runs excelellent. all new fluids, timing belt,water pump, balance belt, v/c gasket, exhaust gasket, intake gasket, t-stat, left outer tie rod end, newer tires, alignment, cd player.....thats all. 115K on chassis.....motor has like 150K on it. No spark, ECU Comm Error? 90 AWD TSI

Im having a problem with my 90 tsi awd, its got a new rebuilt motor in it and the caps have been replaced like last month. After the rebuild the motor would start but sputter out of the exhaust, so we had the ecu caps replaced. And now the car will not even start. We have fuel, but no spark. The timing marks are all aligned. We have replaced the power transistor unit and also the coil pack, but we have no spark still. The mpi fuse checks out good also, we do not have a clue on what to check next. When we plug in the pocketlogger, it says ECU COMM error, dunno if that could be it. The crank angle sensor used to have to be turned all the way advanced to get the car to run, but now of course the car wont start, so can a bad CAS cause no spark? I am lost, help me!

Anyone see the awd talon police chase on real tv saturday nite? its the same video thats on kazaa under the same name, i have been watching real tv for like 3 years on and off trying to watch it and i finally caught the end of the chase! if u havent seen it yet you should download it... pretty nice. The only reason the cop ends up catching the car is because he runs out of gas or the engine blows Just thought i would ask if anyone else seen it
