Ok I feel a little stupid but why do I have like 5 vaccuum ports on my intake manifold? Boost source (boost gauge) and brake booster right? So what are the other three for? Planning on blocking them off but what am I missing? Feeling a little stupid here in the home stretch.

The SMIM is tapped for two lines on the top near the throttle body and three times on the bottom side nearest the cam gears. Little help please. wacko.gif

FPR, but I teed the boost gauge off that line.... You'll also need a source for your BOV/boost controler, but I think that needs to be before the throttle body. Block those SOB's off... the rest are probably for emmisions crap. biggrin.gif

Tap the boost guage off the FPR line. This tells you your manifold pressure. All that's left is the brake booster and the BOV line which MUST be tapped AFTER the TB so it can sense when the plate closes. The boost controller can be tapped of the intake manifold, but its best to tap it off the turbo compressor if possible. Everthing else is emissions crap.

When tapping at the TB for boost guage and/or FPR use only the tap closest to the front of the car. The others have valves or reducers in them. Some won't read vacuum, others won't read boost...emmissions crap...

The link below should help.
