for xmas, i bought my girlfreind a remote keyless entry system from crutchfield. it is a pretty nice one and was around $150. my problem is, i dont know how to install it and there is no place that i can think of that will install it because it wasn't bought from their store(s). it came with a big wiring harness that the crutchfield guy says just plugs right into the existing door locks. if anyone knows of a place that will do this or has done this sort of thing on a '94 talon, please tell me. so far ive called bst buy, circuit city, stewart radio, and marlows.

Jordan (Jbone) might be able to hook you up. He used to work at Sound of Peoria, I belive.

Most non chain audio stores will do it. Marlows wouldn't do it? What a bunch of dizos.

i believe marlows will only do it if you buy a product from their store, as with stewart radio if memory serves. it sounds to me like you're s.o.l., unfortunately. on the good side, it'd make for some interesting 'girlfriend-quality-time' if you decided to make a day of figuring it out.

the thing is, if he and his girl are anything like me and my girl or you and your girl, he wont get anything done on the car.

its too much time saying "yes dear, be right there dear" dry.gif

I would suggest Jbone! Jbone has a pretty good grasp on the elctronics for cars. they are not very hard all you have to do is run the wires through the doors and into the electrical harness! Good luck and also Crutchfield support everything they sell over the phone!
