But anyways, I want to get this new block, take the the old reciprocating assembly out my my current car, add new rings, bearings, new headgastket, timing belt, waterpump, remove the balance shafts, and I think ill be ready to go.
Is this a good idea? Is it wise to use my current crankshaft, rods, pistons? Im going to have a good machine shop assemble the block for me. I dont know if any of you know bud or mitch, but they are top notch machine shop guys.
So what do you guys think? Is this a good idea? And just in case does anyone have any spare bare blocks lying around? Thanks.
