Full Version: Group Buy - AFPR

ICGerms
Alright, I'm gonna contact Mike Licht about a possible group buy on the Full Throttle Speed AFPR. Please let me know ASAP if you would be interested in something like this, just so I can give him some numbers. The price on their website is $145...let me know what kind of deal everyone might consider (5%, 10%, 15%, free shipping, etc.) just so I can work out some numbers with him.

I hope this is OK w/the admins. and/or moderators, to post in the General section, rather than the For Sale section.

hey KOU, is this the regulator you are gonna be using on your kit???

if so I'll just wait till the kit comes out, unless it will be cheaper to get in on a group buy
awd4kicks
No offens KOU, but I would be very interested in this particular AFPR. Include me in the group buy if you can set it up.

i'm in for the AFPR!!!!!

I wouldn't be offended at all AWD4kicks. I wouldn't expect people to buy from me unless it was the product they wanted and at a lower price. I'm all about capitalism. I'd say go for it if you can get what you want at a lower price.

We're planning on going wih the Aeromotive FPR for our kit guys so if you're wanting a Full Throttle AFPR it might be a good idea to hop on board with ICGerms.

are you going to have a better price for it when you sell the package deal???

Not sure what you mean but shoot me a PM so we don't clutter ICgerms group buy thread and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Spy, POSAWD, and possibly Justincredible should get in on this. You guys know you're going to need one sooner or later, might as well get it while the gettin's good. I already have a similar one myself, so I'll pass.

Btw, I'm being a post whore tonight because I'm drinking. Might as well drink while the drinkin's good.

Funds are kinda tight until I sell the 240... if everything works out right, I might be in...

For when you get a bigger fuel pump, goof! tongue.gif You'll want one pretty soon to run some respectable boost on that shiny new 16g. Not necessary right away though.

you spend my money faster than I do. LOL.

it'll all get done in due time. lets make it run first. ok?

Do these bolt up to a stock rail or am I going to be taping? Ahh hell it doesn't matter. If you can get the price down around $120 I'll be in. Not like I shy away from moding my car.

Is the Full Throttle Speed AFPR just a regulator or a kit that includes AN lines and adapters? Do you have a link or more information about it like what kind of regulator it includes and what the adjustability range is? You can pretty much count me in though as I need one soon!

I'm new here by the way, my name is Chris and I have a 90 GSX.
ncgalant
With this group buy we can get different ones right. I myself would want the one for a 2g rail, but I'm sure others of you would want the 1g. BTW thanks for the link natedogg.

***UPDATE***

OK guys, it looks like we're gonna get 'em for $125 shipped. I'll need at least 7 people to get this price, so let me know and/or confirm that you want one. So far, I've got:

ICGerms
frcfed2
Super16G
ncgalant (maybe)
g9sOx
awd4kicks
TSiwrx (maybe)
Kevin
SPOOLED91
POS AWD (maybe)

You will be able to get either a 1G or a 2G model. It bolts right up...all you'll need is a fuel pressure gauge to monitor the fuel pressure.

What I'll probably do is have anyone that wants one Paypal me the $125, and then I'll ship the unit to you (or have it delivered, personally biggthumpup.gif )...I'll eat the cost of shipping it to you. If anyone wants their AFPR shipped along with someone elses, let me know that also.

Again, please confirm that you want one and which model you want (1G or 2G). Mike said that they are back-ordered about 1 week right now. I would like to let him know on MONDAY how many we need. If you've got any questions, email me at jjanutka@siumed.edu THANK YOU!!
AWD DSM 1
I probably won't make it... I don't think I'll have the money by monday. sad.gif I'll let you know if somthing changes.
awd4kicks
I'm in just verify the e-mail address that your PayPal account is under. I'm at Slo Pny in Peoria so I could take shippment for anyone in this area if that makes it any easier.
ncgalant
I'm in, I'll drop payment Saturday after I get paid. Wow, AFPR, ECU and harness all in one week. Looks like I'm on another spree!! biggrin.gif
TSiwrx
i dont think ill be able to get the money. the f#&$ing owner of pickermans just decided to close the morton store yesterday and put me out of a job. sorry.
p.s. dont ever go to pickermans.
ICGerms
OK, I think what I'll do is place the order for the AFPRs on Friday, Feb. 6. That'll give everyone a little time to decide if they want in on this deal and to give you time to get your money together. It will be up to you WHEN you want to Paypal the money to me (or give it to me in person), just so I have it by next Friday. Paypal account is: immunojoe@hotmail.com. If we don't end up getting at least 7 people, I will Paypal the money back to everyone, unless you paid me in person, in which case I'll just give it back to you.

awd4kicks, thanks for the offer of shipping to you. That will work out great. Anyone in that area, just let me know if you want your AFPR shipped there, or directly to you...as I'm gonna be covering the costs of shipping myself, obviously I'd prefer to ship as many together as possible.

If anyone has any questions, just post here, or PM me. I've been having computer problems over the past couple of days, but it seems that I've got that pretty much worked out now (knocks on wood unsure.gif )

Thanks,
Joe
Super16G
I'll be getting ahold of you at the end of the week brotha biggthumpup.gif
