Samples from the first production run of the stainless manifolds arrived today. Now it's off to the dyno!

what car are these manifolds for????

What's that big round, aluminum looking manifold with a fan in the middle of it supposed to go on?

Does the manifold keep the turbo in the stock location?

Yep. It's close enough to stock that I've had no problems with the flex section or exhaust hangers taking up the minimal difference.

When are these being tested? At R&T's? On who's car? I'd like to check it out if I may.

Be happy to have you there Nate. We're going to use Dan's FWD as our little dyno slut. Had some scheduling issues when things were held up in customs but I'm hoping to get our Fri (tomorrow) time slot back with R&T if I'm lucky.

The new studs are going in as we speak and will be ready for Friday's Dyno pulls. SloPny is donating a brand new multi-layer ex-man gasket in place of the stocker so things will all seal evenly.

During our broken stud extraction we found that Spy's stock Ex-manifold has a 4" long crack on the bottom side. If he doesn't already have a replacement I would like to see if anyone else would be willing to donate a good stock 1G manifold so we can get true readings all around.

I will also be attending this event for SloPny, to help with the wrenching and any troubleshooting that may be necessary on Spy's invitation. I would like to throw out another test for the dyno slut on Friday for a more indepth comparison... I would like to have my personal ported Ex-manifold tested to see how much gain there truely is if any over the stock manifold. This will also give us a comparison to the improvements a fabricated header may have over the ported manifold as well as the stock unit.

i would also like to come watch but sadly i have to work
