TRE sells those. The thought of this high speed gear has crossed my mind, but then I figure 140+ is probably already pushing my luck.

I don't think anyone should under estimate the obnoxious gear whine produced from the straight cut gears anytime you decide to cruise in 5th gear. Any highway and freeway driving for long periods of time my make for a mind numbing experience.

100 mph...
Nate: "43 counts of knock, Marcus."

Haha! I believe so. And I think the race started in 5th gear, or maybe the top of 4th.

That thing has never been pre-modded!!! If my UICP, MBC and large exhaust (your leaking exhaust at the DP) count then so does yours!

Remember we're talking about a FWD gear set compared to an AWD gear set that equals about three car lengths in the FWD's favor on a roll with similar power levels in each car.

How much different from stock was my Talon over the GST anyway? Hmmm....some porting and water injection maybe? Helping run those awesome 43 knock counts no less. Still running the same turbo, injectors and lack of fuel control that the GST was running I believe.

BTW - A full wieght DSM with a couple of larger pipes on it don't make a purpose built race car. And if we are into building purpose built cars and can only muster 12's then we better stick to calling them street cars. Besides if windshield washer fluid is so awesome I wouldn't be running any knock.

Actually it all apeared almost even as I crept back up to the FWD and I didn't gain hardly anything until I was solidly in 5th.

Yeah, I still consider my car a street car, as well I should.

I still want a piece of the fwd with the evo. From a roll, right?
