I need:

1G Crankshaft for a 4G63 motor

1G Head Gasket for 4G63

Let me know if you have either of these I need them asap and I have cash in hand
AWD DSM 1
Autozone or advance usually stocks head gaskets for around $30-40... probably your best bet for a quick solution.

Also need oil pump
wntsom4
Does anyone make a performance oil pump for dsm's?
wntsom4
Anyone heard of Toga Performance Oil Pumps, I found them on th web and it's cheaper than a OEM pump.. Wondering if anyone has one or is heard of them?

I should have a spare crank here. Also a used oil pump if you go that route but I agree with the consensus on going with a new unit there.
wntsom4
What do you want for the crank and does it need to be turned or ballanced?
turbohcar
Precision Engineered Engines in Bloomington rebuilds oil pumps for the Mitsubishi and can raise your oil pressure on the stock pump if you like. I can get ahold of them for you if you want just pm me and I'll get a quote for you. I dont think we have any spare pumps though but I'll check.

$80 for the crank sound fair? I'm thinking it's drop in but I haven't had it checked by a machine shop. If they tell you it needs work I'll grant a partial refund back. If it's shot completely for some reason I'll give you your money back.

Not to insult you but I was told you can by 1G cranks for like $40.
AWD DSM 1
Where?!?! At that price I'd start stocking up!!

I want a $40 crank also. I could use a couple spares for when the one in the race car comes apart.

The oil pressure is kind of too high stock. Raise it too much the relief bypass will open.

I've also heard that excessively high oil pressure is bad for the turbo bearing especially if its BB.

I've heard this also.

No prob. Hey ya source parts for what ya can. If you can source them that cheap then more power to you and no hard feelings.
