Anyone in the B-N area done a 2G Clutch install? Were doing one starting Friday night and wanted to see if anyone wanted to assist or give me any info on doing it.
Let me know

Same thing, only you don't have to worry about the transfercase.

Mitsu 77 and I have done one before. Tricky thing is, we usually extract the motor and transmission together and then deal with the clutch while it's out of the car. It takes alot longer that way, but IMO it makes it easier. We've never followed any paper instructions before, not even when either of us started working on 1Gs. Usually it's fly by the seat of your pants and we've been doing it often enough we actually have never had any problems. I might be able to drop by for awhile but I'm not so sure Mitsu 77 (Ryan) will be able to. He usually has to work early on Saturdays. Are there going to be beverages at this function?

What he said.
Taking the entire engine out to do a simple clutch job seems a little overkill to me. Of course, I've had enough practice by now that I can drop my transmission in just over and hour, so it may seem simpler to me than to others. I've got a lot less crap in the way than most DSM's though.

There's a difference in the motor mounts for a 2G though, instead of being on the motor they are on the transmission so you almost have to take the whole motor and trans unless you can somehow support the motor.
