Ok, I have a problem. on my car NONE of my door locks work. For awhile the driver side worked but today It froze up and now will not turn. The passenger door and hatch all turn freely and are feel unconnected. This to me is a SERIOUS problem as I don't feel safe leaving my car unlocked while im at work and school.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

LOL. I'm thinking gut the interior and make everything not worth stealing. and one of them neato disconnect steering wheels.

could the motor in it just have gone bonkers and you just need to replace it? Not that it's the same problem....but the locks in our 2g were doing some pretty freaky stuff along with the radio and windows....turned out to be a loose fuse if I remember correctly......just a thought

hmmmm.... I dunno. but its more the actually lock being frozen. I cant even make the key turn.

don't laugh. I tried that. I seriously think one of the tumblers is stuck on the driver door. and the locks are completely broke on the passenger and hatch door.

Well, if you're feeling industrious, you can pull the locks from one of the parts cars here and take the key to it with you. Kind of a ghetto solution but it works and its free.

just to let you know, its a bitch to get in there (I've done it). I hope you can get it fixed...I would try fixing it befor replacement.

And if you can get a clicker PLEASE let me know. I dunno where to get one for mine.
