Maybe if we knew what the heck happened we could point fingers better.
lmfao... that's the best shit i've heard all day.. and today is still thursday.. Which one of you guys likes to kill batteries???
basically i was driving home from the shop this morning, and i felt fuel cut for the first time in my life hitting second. eased into third, and basically the car shut down. The car had been finicky starting all night and morning. So, i was guessing maybe the battery was dead/connections or possibly no gas (tach doesn't read, and all the other gauges go to empty or flat when off, but the fuel stayed where it was, thought maybe it's acting up too, or not reading right) . Walked back to the shop, grabbed some gas. turned the ignition, TICK TICK TICK TICK. F-! walked the battery to advanced auto parts. Ends up dead. Drop $55 on a new battery, head on out. Unmarked cop sitting next to my license plateless car (i noticed while trying to get in the car, lol.) Luckily the driver side door doesn't work with the key, i noticed him and walked back to the truck and took off to the dmv. I swap license to and from the dd, and yanked em off so i could legally drive back. I only drive to and from the shop as of now which is 4 minutes away and usually late late at night. Got pulled over on the way back to my home, guess they put out a bb, or whatever with my description. Everything went fine, no ticket no nothing...$170 later, i've got the plates. Have a friend taking me over to see if this 'real' 90 talon battery will get the car to quit her whining.
it's been a long annoying thursday, and rent will be late. but, if anything i finally got plates. whoo hoo, i'm legal. no more only going to the shop!!!!
