OK, so I made a 3" turbo-back. It will eventuallybe a side exit, but currently dumps under the car. Unforseen problem: THIS THING IS LOUD!!!! If anyone has a 3" muffler lying about, please let me know. My car currently sounds like a cross between a lawn mower and a semi. The upside is now I have uncontrollable wheelspin at WOT in 1-3 gears. The downside is that in 4+5 my clutch can't even try to hold on. I have no cat, only a 12" glasspack. I NEED something to calm the noise. Thanx.

I picked up one in a deal from spooled 91, but I am trying to figure out if I am going to like the sound it ommits, if it doesn't then I will try to sell it..... although anything is for sale for the right price, what lind of deal do ya want to make.

the one I have is a Flowmaster 3" inlet 3" outlet straight through design....

I coulda told ya it'd be super loud. When I first hooked up my exhaust it was DP only and I know where your coming from.

Big thanks to NCGalant, the muffler worked great. Thanks GSXR80 for the offer. The exhaust is now on, and sounds means as all hell coming out right in front of the passenger side tire. Surpisingly, the 3" straight-through made a MASSIVE difference in sound, and with the silencer in (as if), it actually made LESS noise than stock...weird. So it's done, ghetto as hell, but it flows. Thanks as well to Slo-Pny for consultation (tolerating me).

Now I get to drive around scrapin' like a mini-truck...

gsx, whats the 'right price'?

well, since I have found a tip that I think will make me happy with the exhaust system, there might not be a "right price" anymore..... but I won't know till I get the system on the car and fire it up to see what it sounds like. I will let you know once I get a chance to hear it.
