Ok, we're now counting down the days to the big race. I'm wondering what issues I should look at. I came up with the following.

-Fix all leaks(oil/gas mostly)
-Get a helmet(assuming I can break 13.99)?
-Move the battery back to the front(just easier)
-Do a log and have her in good tune for the day of


I'm not sure what else I should do to the car. I was going to give it all a once over once all of the leaks are fixed. I'll probably clean up the engine bay some also. Just in case they look. So what am I missing?

Personal opinion:

Check CV boots, joints, your axles will be pretty stressed
Check tires for problems, bubbles in sidewall, etc.
Check shift linkages for potential issues.
Check brakes.
Check all important connections in engine bay, you'd hate to potentially waste your best run because of a plug wire or something equally minute.

In your case, I'd put an extra wrap or two of duct tape on all your intercooler pipes, and fasten down all electrical things laying around the interior. laugh.gif

As long as there are no profuse leaks they wont care what your engine bay looks like. I think you should concentrate on making that freeway rocket hook up on the launch.

I was thinking about some spring isolators in the rear. That and maybe I'll hook up that BCS I have and have staged boost.

tighten down all clamps on IC piping so they dont blow off goin down the track.
