I need to change my pads, i dont ever plan on going with a big brake kit but i may end up getting slotted rotors at some point. Anyone got any suggestions on some decent priced ones? (besides at autozone, etc)

Bendix CT3 ceramic pads
or Napa Ceramix
also there is a pad called "green stuff" you can find all over the internet, supposed to be pretty good

Benny, how do the Porterfields stop cars that weigh more than 950 lbs? I should get some for hy hatch, though, it's about due.

I've got Porterfield R4's on Frankenstein. Should be a good choice if you are looking for all-out stopping power. Roadrace has a nice little write up on them.

The R4 is the road racing compound pad. The R4S is the "street/autocross" pad. I've always used the R4S, so I can't compare the two.
The R4S takes a minute to get grippy (they've got to get warm), but once they get warm, they grip like hell and don't fade...at all.

I have EBC green stuff on the Evo and the Talon. They don't have a warm up time and they stop pretty good. Definite noticeable difference over stock pads. Probably not as good as the Porterfield pads, but not as expensive either. They sell EBC pads at tirerack.com.
