Not good.

I know some of you have taken a girls virginity. Although some guys really like it, things always get a little wierd afterwards. Unforuntatly, taking a cars virginity is no different.

My Laser, untill this evening, was pretty much a virgin. A couple fingerbangings here and there with new suspension, an intake, and a test pipe, but the cherry really wasn't popped. She was freaky as hell, but I just hadn't started sliding into home yet. Well tonight I finally had a few hours on my hands before Cordova, and decided it was about damn time I played with the slut. So I installed new gauges...(one of which won't work), and put on my new TurboXS boost controller. I turned up the boost a bit, and took her up to Ks to hang out with a few of the locals before I tore her down again, and rampaged her with some ported parts.
Unfortunatly, my whore didn't like getting popped. She resented it very much actually. Upon startup at Ks, she did nothing. Absolutely nothing. Didn't even try to turn over. So after 3 or 4 attempts at a pushstart in front of a 100 or so people, she finally got moving back to my house. Then died again. And once again, will not start.
A bystander would think I must have done it IDB or something to get my car to resent me this much the night before Cordova, however, I am not suprised. My virgin turned cold fish obviously didn't take well to my toying, and will not be making an appearance tommorow, rain or shine, unless you guys intend to push start it up to the line every time I race. I doubt anyone wants to do that, so anyways, hopefully I can catch a ride up there, and if not, have fun and be safe!

mpi fuse? are all your new gauges grounded out correctly?
iowa_boost
maybe something came disconnected on your starter? happened to me once and i hadnt touched the thing.

My galant's currently doing this also. My thought is that the starter has a flat spot or 2 in it. Try rocking the car with it in gear and see if it starts. I can usually move mine like 6 inches and it'll grab.
