Well I was comming up a hill near my work and went into 4th gear. About 4500 the RPMs lunge forward to 5500. The car kicks forward, then does it again putting me at 6500. I put her into 5th and hear nasty noises comming from the front. There goes a rod I was thinking. I then noticed my battery light on. I idled most of the way up the hill and shut her off. As I thought the alternator belt had come off(stupid pivot bolt!!).

I got that fixed and started off once again. The nasty noise was still there, but sometimes the alternator pulley hits the frame when the pivot bolt is comming out. This seemed to be the case until I got up to about 40mph. I put her into 4th.... rev rev ummmm rev rev. 5th and everything was fine. Aparently 4th gear is no more. I got the car as far as work and it looks like she'll be gimping her way over to slo pony tomorrow morning. Man what timing

Sorry to hear about that bad run of luck guys. Oh and if I perform some voodoo anti-hex spells on you and I screw up and shrink your balls, its nothing personal. Just trying trying to keep the hyper-contagious "DSM-dies-before-racing-event" hex from coming this way. It has nailed me the last two times. It will NOT this time.

well she gimped over to slo pony today. I'm hoping its not to broken. It sure sounded broken on the way over I hate to see my baby in pain
