I got that fixed and started off once again. The nasty noise was still there, but sometimes the alternator pulley hits the frame when the pivot bolt is comming out. This seemed to be the case until I got up to about 40mph. I put her into 4th.... rev rev ummmm rev rev. 5th and everything was fine. Aparently 4th gear is no more. I got the car as far as work and it looks like she'll be gimping her way over to slo pony tomorrow morning. Man what timing
