Full Version: KOUmotorsports' New Shop!
DSMCentral > Forum > General Talk
KOU In3
Just thought I'd share with everyone. KOUmotorsports has outgrown our last location and we've moved on to something a little bigger with a few more amenities this time.

!900+ sq. ft. 20 ft + ceilings, climate control, and bathroom facilities! Granted we're still small potatoes but it's a big step for us. smile.gif

We've been busy moving in and trying to get settled so please excuse the mess in the photos.

We're frequently working late but our official hours remain 'by appointment only' so please call first before stopping by or you my very well find yourself stopped by the exterior gate. biggthumpup.gif For the added security though.

Your 2G looks even better up close than from the random times I've seen it cruising the opposite direction, BTW.

Hope to see you around there more often.

I was definately kicking myself for leaving things hooked directly to the wastegate and running around at 10psi last night wink.gif

Actually I work two jobs.

Travis Jeffrey: Mild-mannered restaurant manager by day.
KOU: Champaign-Urbana hop up mechanic and DSM parts guy by night.

You know, kind of like Superman.... tongue.gif

Actually the DSM side started as a hobby, moved into a side job, and we've just been steadily outgrowing our facilites so this is just the next step in the progression.

*edit* Please don't read the joke part as a shameless ego plug. I'm dwarfed as usual by alot of people in terms of mechanical skills, facilities, and DSM knowledge on here. *edit*
Temp_Me96
Sweet Travis I like the facilities. Looks like you can do some real damage in a place like that. I hope everything keeps going well for you. Get ahold of me sometime.

And Clark Kent never got the girl. Uh oh. I'm really screwed aren't I?

To the best of my knowledge the shop no longer exists, but even when it did the owner/operater was quite hard to get a hold of. As far as the quality there is an extreme variety of satisfaction from members of this board. Some people had very good luck while others would prefer to castrate the owner bare-handed.
