I know this is a long shot, but i figured i would give it a shot since salvage yards arent much help. My 1.8 needs another distributor (3rd one within a year) and i dont want to buy a remanned one again ($200) cause i just want this car to go away!! Does anyone by some chance have a donor car or access to one that i could get one cheaper so i can get rid of this thing? Thanks in advance

I thought remanned parts bought at Autozone (I am assuming that's where you bought it) had warranties? Why not get one with a warranty next time?

And mine did have a 90 day warrenty, which is up unfortunatly. Im beginning to think this car has some kind of defect that likes to ruin distributors.

should have bought it from advance auto, it would have had a 1 year waranty

i did, they replaced it once and said the next one will only have a 90 day warrenty
