I saw on CNN yesterday that potatos will now be made with less carbs. So all you Spuds out there are old hat. Time to slim down the Spuds!

this pisses me off. I'm going to go eat a bowl of spagetti... and i'll still be skinnier than 99% of all the fat ass atkins bitches out there. furthermore I'm going to wash it down with a nice stout Guiness...

The atkins diet is for our instant results with little effort world. It's the latest in laziness fitness. I can eat whatever I want and not gain a pound. Why? It's called working out. Effort. If you get off your ass, you will be skinny.

People that don't get out tend to have a low metabolic rate. Therefore, the pudge. The body becomes accustomed to doing nothing. The body temperature of the lazy individual also drops. Also, thyroid disorders can affect metabolism. Athletes have high metabolisms. Desk jockeys don't.

As one of the "Fat Asses" out here. I beg to differ with some of your points. I am a very active person, and am always going. And I do eat pretty sensibly. I have tried numerous diets with no success. So I think it would be nice unless you know each individual results, that it isn't that fair to make such a general accusation that just because someone is overweight, that they automatically are lazy fat asses and don't do anything.

i would have to agree, some people have genetics that don't allow for weight loss, yet some people can eat everything in sight and not gain an ounce... myself, I am out of shape and know it.... I could lose the weight but don't due to laziness, but then again I am not overly obease, just a little out of shape

I have a job where I am constantly on my feet for 8 hours running my ass off. plus I work out, and I don't have time to eat very often..... but I still manage to be a pretty good sized girl. Not everyone out there is meant to be skinny ... good for you if you can eat whatever you want and stay skinny.....must be nice lol. But as for all this low carb stuff I like my taters just the way they are

I hardly eat shit and I'm still a fatass
Of course, I've lost like 8lbs in the last week. Maybe not drinking a 30pack a night would have been a better solution than dieting

That's why I included thyroid disorders. The thyroid controls your metabolism. No, it's not every overweight person's fault. It's not every skinny person's fault, either. But the man who sits around with a bag of Lay's chips and a 2 liter of soda as his breakfast is getting what he deserves. My bad, I should have been more specific. And there's nothing wrong with tig ol bittlies. Something else I'll never get is ordering a super sized big mac value meal with a diet coke. You care enough about yourself to get a diet coke, but you're still eating that fat sandwich and greazy super sized fries.

4th goal. Stuff Ranta in a carry on bag and send to Hondurass.
Haha, what does stuffing Ranta in a bag have to do with being in Shape? I know plenty of people I could stuff in a bag and I am, as people in this post would say, "an out of shape lazy fat ass." I say, if you think you can, then you can.

what the hell are they doing to make them "low carb" anyway.... the chip companies claimed that they were making their "low fat" chips.... what they were doing was making the servings smaller, thus saying that per serving their chips had less fat grams than before
