Just got word, there is a pca event, Porsche Club of America at Studio 29 in Peoria, off Galena Road Tomorrow. I assume registry is at 10, Im ther at 8:30-9:00. So tonight, tranny install, turbo install, front mount relocate, big brake install and new translator tuning!!! Woo hooo all nighter!

7-24-2004 is the date!!!!

CRAP SHIT DAMN. is it going on sunday too?? please say yes.

Im working all day tomorrow. but, would love to attend.

I got an e-mail on this weeks ago and sent a response to get more info - never heard. I assumed this was off... I think there might have been other motivations for not responding to me ... heh...

Actually All my video was taken on Spyonyourwife's camera. And I did catch Domesticated Hammer laying down a MAD TYTE JDM DRIFTO!!! Plus both AWD Mitsus were laying down sideways tracks and scratching for grip around every slightest turn. Good time biggthumpup.gif

your pissed I work less than 50 yards from there and I missed it, my shop even put it in the weekly news letter I got on friday but never read. mad.gif

They didn't class anyone, just broke us in to two heats (based on the order we signed up). 28 drivers total. Kevin, Black BMW 325i won the B heat, a youngish guy in a black Porche won the A heat.

The course was bigger than last time, as they used an additional lot. Still pretty tight and some dangerous places. All that aside, it was a WOT course, if you didn't mind flooring it while headed at a tele pole.....

Looks like it was a lot of fun. I hope they can get the word out sooner next time.

Anyone get any more pics or video of this event? I was driving the lone Mini that was there - and dad was driving the only 914 there. Lots of fun, but as it's been said - the course was laid out a little scary - especially the start / finish section.
