Picked a 95 awd up, would like to swap in a 6bolt/5 speed manual. Car came factory with 5 speed, but alas, all I got with the car was a 1g auto awd tranny, 7 bolt shortblock, and two transfer cases.
What my power goals are for this car: Would like about 300-325awhp on pump gas with stock sidemount.
Here is the setup I was thinking:
Stock 6 bolt w/ balance shaft elim, 5 spd tranny, ACT 2100 clutch
14B with ported exhaust housing/2g manifold/o2 housing
MBC set for 16psi
Walbro 255 fuel pump
RRE upper ic pipe
3" DP, 2 1/2" catback
Any comments? Will that get me the power levels or what would I be making around 16psi? Not really wanting to spend another couple hundred for a 16G. Maybe I'll upgrade later, but I'm not wanting to make a ton of power.

300 at the wheels is tough from that set-up. at the crank seems more attainable.
I would also invest in a maf-t for tuning purposes. why bottleneck the exhaust tho? 2.5 all the way back should be sufficent. and I would suggest an AFPR with the 255 or a 190.

Forget the breather can...just run a length of fuel line out the bottom of your engine bay

2.5 downpipe and 3inch catback would be more appropriate. As the gases come out of the turbine they are superheated. Hot air moves faster and easier through tighter spaces than cold air. While the exhaust is traveling down your exhaust pipe it is cooling all the way back to the back of the car. This is why intake ports on a head are always bigger than exhaust ports. You need that extra room to allow the slower moving air to travel at an acceptable rate. By putting a 2.5 catback and 3 inch downpipe on you are basically trying to bottle neck your exhaust. It's like trying to fit your fist down the sink drain, it may fit at the opening, but the mass of your hand won't fit down the drain pipe.

BTW, you're going to need a 2g tranny. There are tranny mounts on the 2g, on the 1g there are not.
Here's more information.

Update, I bought a 56K mile 97 GSX tranny, some brand new forged shifter forks for it, and a act 2600 clutch kit. I'm going to go with a full apexi n1 exhaust setup.
