allright, this is an over due post. about a month ago i was trying to eazy out the broken manifold bolt out of my head. I stareted with the smallest drill bit i could find, and gradually got as large as i could go. I then used an easy out bit, and hand turned it to get the bolt out. snap.

an average drill bit won't drill into an easy out. I've heard diamond coated drill bits might do the trick. does anyone have any suggestions, or know where to order these drill bits at?

If push comes to shove, you could drill it all out and tap it for a larger diameter bolt. It wouldn't be fun, but its doable.

Go to www.mcmaster.com and search for this part number: 88055A67

That should be perfect for extracting 8mm ex-man studs.

You could probably also find some left-handed drill bits at Do-It Best in the contractors section.

is the stud flush wit the head? This trick is kind of risky, but it works. Get a nut about the same size as the stud. Hold the nut over the stud and get your welder and weld the stud to the inside of the nut. This sounds crazy, but it works. good luck.

thanks for all of the help... at this point in time i'm going to try going worts route, if that fails i'll push and shove...
unfortunately they're in there, no flush. although, i will admit, it sounds crazy enough to work...

feel free to continue posting any help, i apprecjiate it all, thanks.
