I'll be making it to Vickory day...but not in my DSM.

Saturn of Peoria is sending me up to Cordova in one of their brand new supercharged ION Redlines. These cars are fairly equal to the DSM's in their stock form with 200HP and a 2,950 lb. package weight. Saturn is looking for some exposure and they know there are a lot of people going to Vicary day. I'll be doing my best to make that little Redline run, but I don't expect much better than low 15's.

So I want to hook up with a caravan going north Sunday.

It's pretty cool thought, racing for a company. Wish me luck and no breakage!

Red Line should break into the 14s, especially with 'Kicks at the wheel.

I'm in for sure, currently gutting interior and porting everything I can fit a grinder into, in classic DSM form. Plans for Sunday include 22+ psi, race gas, equal-length half shafts, solid motor mounts, ported manifold and turbo, no interior, locked suspension, and Nitto 555R Drag Radials. Considering I had none of that at Slo-Pny day, and I managed a 13.8, I'll be looking for low 13s. If I can't drop half a second with 8 more psi, traction, and less weight, I have no business being at a racetrack.

I'll go if I can hook a ride from Bloomington. I couldn't possibly fix the tranny leak in time, but I'd like to go watch. Who's goin? Moushon, if you've got an extra seat, I'd like to make dibs.

I'll have to leave the passenger seat in. If you can get from BN to the Paradice by 7am Sunday you can ride with me. But you're taking the seat out when we get there.

Well, I've made arrangements to drive my car because I'll have a passenger with me.

BTW, I'd like to know if alcohol is allowed in the stands? Nothin like a cold one while you're watching the races!

There's at least one car at the track that won't be breaking. I hope you make it into the 14s, too. I wish I could go, but the driver's side balljoint on the car feels like the factory freak when it would fight for traction when it was missing the tranny mount.
