it looks like it would be a good turbo, i guess it is sapposed to spool up quick. idk what do you guys think?

a good turbo for what exactly? I wouldn't put it on a car that I'm driving daily. Also it will require LOADS of supporting mods.

From what little I know of DSM's I've really only heard of guys running the HX35's or the HY35's. For whatever that's worth, an Ebay search should get you some finds on them.

Sounds like a monstrous Holset turbo with a Mitsubishi exhaust housing flange. If you plan on running it anywhere besides the track you're looking at the wrong turbocharger.

I don't have experience with Holset turbos but 'quick spool-up' is a very relative term. Generally, the bigger the horsepower numbers that a turbo is capable of, the bigger the lag.

So, when the ad mentions it to be a 650+ capable turbo... you get the idea.

The other consideration I'd look to is that a lot of the big diesel turbos are designed for extrememly high boost applications (think 40 psi). Your actual hp will vary considerably at more streetable (non-diesel) levels.
