let moushon handle the fwd territory.
and for the record, analube still remains based in the area for the time being and though lonely, only awaits her whoremaster's return in order to once again be the ugliest fast car on the street.
I really can't imagine having the opportunity that you do, being project car-less and having so many available options and wanting to turn to a fwd dsm of all things. Here's a couple suggestings that I'd love to do.
1 build a 240 drift maniac, s13 or s14
2 there's a yellow mr2 sitting for sale on route 29 that's been giving my neck problems every time I drive back into Peoria for weeks now, this is the same platform that won scc's car of the year and would greatly benefit from a simple v6 swap
3 buy analube (for the bargain rate of 15K (okay, so it's not only the ugliest-fast car, but also the ugliest-overvalued car) and once again be respected by women and children, regain your manhood, and by possessive transferrence be almost as cool as me
4 get a lexus is430 (i think that's the model) and find a way to shoehorn a 2jz into it
5 build a true rustbucket muscle car with a hillybillyish name like a -cuda or a -super bee or a -dart
6 do a rx7, and by 'do' I mean in the biblical fornication sense
7 get a hachi roku and dorifto your pooper into 130hp induced inertia drifts while delivering pizza down mt. grand view drive

NA, for now I will challenge Jaminmoushon's title for fwd dominance. Make it scary fast with the lack of awd control and similar hp as the awd and then let her go to the next maniac brave enough to drive her. As it was with a 14b she could run with the sti's and evo's from a roll. Cant wait to build some real horspower with her and put that phantom grip to work.
this is what I was wanting to do for a long time, but alas, funds could not be had and I needed something reliable.
Who knows, maybe next season...

Get out of my house. You happen to have the PARTS available to build a monster of a fwd. But it takes more than parts to be a rough rider. You are going to have to stop typing tales of your would-be monster and grab a wrench, cuz your words radiate the type of heat that I'm not sure a Frank 3 and some big squirters can back. I'm inclined to agree with the gross one on this. Leave me to my own, Spyguy, I'm not sure you're up to the fight I'll bring. Should have kept the advantage of awd. I haven't even started changing hard parts. If I ran 13.4 on a 14b, smic, and 450s, do you really think you can handle the Green, the 780s, and the chiller? Remember, part for part, anyone can build a car, but the TOONING separates the men from the Spys. Nothing but love for you, Spy, but know that I'll not be beat. By you. Ever.

Tuning. YOu talk about tuning with your little freak deaky safc, so guess what, Im going to use the same fuel controll that you have, and then we can dyno each. Then we will see what they do at the track. And a burn out contest, Im confident that I can smoke the tires off all the way down the quarter at will.,
Want some of this panzy boy?
Stating openly, this fwd platform may never even see the 12 second mark. It aint the point. From a roll, she is going to pull like no one else.
Pull like nothing else... except the white blur that is a half a mile ahead of you... and still pulling away.

Your on. Get the freak running and give me a ring.
I'm gonna side with Spy on this one. He is the original fwd factory freak pilot. Well, I guess I may be the original-original, but I haven't driven a fwd for quite a while now. No tuning necessary, Spy's freak whooped pooper on almost everthing it ran from a roll. There is definitely something special there. I know, I've driven it.
You know where your fwd ambitions came from J. That shift-fork bending, wheel hopping, tire spinning ride that that the old maroon monster gave you way back when at Willow.

I remember that ride! And I agree fully where the inspiration came from. But you have awd now, and I now carry the torch for FWD madness. The freak may be something special, but numbers don't lie. 14.00 was the best that car ever ran, maybe the best it ever will. We'll see. BTW, I wouldn't mind a piece of the evo, when the weather warms a bit...
I called your number, it was disconnected, so I called 1-800-ISUKDIX and left you a voicemail...

Oh I tire of this drivell...
Although Moushon's 13.4 is absolutely admirable it is not the only 13.4 recorded locally. Josh shares the title of fastest recorded FWD 1/4 mile time with the Moushon monster. So the there really isn't one local FWD king of the hill at this time.
Switching to FWD for better roll-on performance?!?! What a cop out! I'll be out this spring with the original stock weight AWD schooling any FWD, RWD, rice rocket or tank from the obvious dig and from their sacred roll-on 'racing'
As for picking a different platform...
The MR2 only won the SCC because it's panzi a$$ got good gas mileage, carried grandma around nice and easy and had a trailor queen paint job...whatever!
BTW - Cuda, Super Bee and the like were made up by pencil neck marketing geeks from the 60's to draw in the youth of the time long before your uncle-dads parked them by their trailors!
Go ahead and keep talking about spinning your tires through 14 second quarter miles at 120mph ignoring the fact that fast cars exist all around you.

I see Marcus wants some. Too bad, he's been out of the game for awhile and will be hard pressed to be dominant again. As for gst, well, you made 260 whp on the last tune that should have netted you 300+, we'll see how you fare this season. If the car (engine) makes it that far...

Yeah...out of practice, with a used engine, a passenger and my 14b, I put down spy's 16g through the 1/2 mile on the one night she ran this past summer. Not to mention my POS daily driver and my out of touch driving put down spy's 'FWD killing' TA twice and laid down 14.1's.

HAHAH...ya freakin turn coat! Your just like the average domestic driver...a blip on the ever-ready yet limited torque supply of your V8 means you won a race or three.

Remeber I blipped my slow spooling POS and got right back out of it those three times...then laid waist to the TA with the 'INSTA-BOOOOST' on that last run that YOU neglected to mention.
Hey I'm not saying the TA or the 16g version of the Eclipse are/were slow. Both are/were powerful and the TA has sights and sounds to behold. They just happen to be good examples and niether were able to hold me back!
