Has anybody heard anything more about this? I've heard that it may be WAY to expensive for us to even think about. Do we have any backup plans? I think I'm gonna be on the road by mid April (hopefully) and would really like a chance to spank some hondas...

That would be fun! There is someone at CII that is looking at prices but I dont know the details, he is kind of getting behind on this. I will talk to marcus and see if there is any news!

I know that after this talk came up I called up to Route 66 and it was way expensive. For a weekday for a few hours it was thousands of dollars. And a weekend was out of the question according to the guy I spoke with. I also talked to a lady at Gateway and she talked like it was more doable - before an event on the weekend. She was supposed to get back with me with rates. I just wanted to check because I didn't think it sounded economically feasible. From what I have found out so far, I still think so. I am thinking Cordova would be the more affordable route to go/look into.
Just my thoughts...

I'm gonna have to agree with Susan on this one. Route 66 is an awesome track, but I can't see CII and DSMCentral coming up with enough support to get enough cars to make it realistic. With maybe 20-30 cars and 100 spectators we might be able to mix in with a Saturday Test n tune at Cordova. I'm gonna see if I can stir up something on CII aobut this.
