I'm looking for a decent set of all season tires for my 92 AWD. I want decent traction for the track but don't want to kill myself this winter!! I was going to get some Nitto 450's in a 222/50r-16 but read some bad opinions of them. The Kumho ASX look pretty good too. What are you guys running?
JMoushon
Uhhhh... 225/50-16 eagle gt2s in the front, 205/55-16 Spectrum lxr in the back.

But then I run a FWD biggthumpup.gif

but you can't have different sizes on the front and rear cuz it throws off the transfere case right? if the front and rear don't turn the same it will eat the gears up.

just like a truck with 4wd.

I had BFG Traction T/A tires on my Focus before it "went away." They're directional, V-speed rated and had WAAAY better traction than those silly excuses for tires called Firehawks. I read a lot of reviews on TireRack on these tires and a huge amount had great feedback for winter drivability. My roomate, come to think of it, has these on his Cougar and has had absolutely no problems with them. He also lives in Peoria and has used them in the snow. No traction issues.

Just my .02

Thanks guys, I think I'm leaning towards one of these:
Kumho ASX $73 at tire rack
Yokohama Avid V4S $80 at tire rack (look a little cooler)

The more I research the more I get confused....
