I work auto parts now, and a customer called wanting an engine for an awd talon turbo. All I had at the wharehouse said they were for front wheel turbo only. What's the difference? And will the exhaust not bolt to the long block on a naturally aspirated one, or is there other differences?

For a 1g(assuming) The turbo/nonturbo heads are the same, blocks are the same. FWD/AWD are the same except for the flywheel.

The turbo engine has different cams and pistons than non-turbo, but the turbo exhaust manifold will bolt on.

I have a complete NA engine in my GST. Works wonderfully.
Drivetrain makes no difference in longblock configuration.
