1) How do you remove the stock corner lights to instal clear ones? They are really cheap off of Ebay and I'm thinking about ordering a pair. I think they would look really good since my lights looks like they are brand new.


2) Is this the tranny fluid dipstick?

Thanks for all the help guys. Someday I will know enough about these cars to not ask such simple questions. This is my first DSM and I'm hoping it will be one of many.

Trans dipstick should be red in color and in that same general location you are pointing at.

As for the corner lamps, depending on what year you have depends on the procedure.

90-91=remove headlamp cover and there are two screws that hold the side marker in. Unbolt screws and pull towards you (front of vehicle).

92-94=(unsure on this one as it's been two years since I had my last 92) There should be one bolt just behind the headlamp assembly. Unbolt that one and pull towards you (front of vehicle).

Yea, it was red in color, but there wasn't very much on it so I'm gonna be looking into that.

And yea I thought I only noticed 1 bolt and a screw for the corners, but just checking.

Make sure you check it properly. Start the car, run the shifter up and down twice, then check it in nuetral with the car running.

The neutral part is key to a good reading.

Also, it's good to check the tranny fluid when motor is warmed up.

Ok, so it appears I am low on tranny fluid but where do I add more and is there a specific type of fluid I need to use? (I've never done anything transmission related before)
