... anyone source these or know how to fab?

If I'm gonna crawl under there I'd like to do it all at once and not just drive down the road with my fingers crossed.

Thanks!

I purchased a nice sealed simulator unit from machv. They gave me a deal on it since they screwed up my order so many times. Don't know what full price is.

I saw someone recommending fabbing a sparkplug body to move the actual O2 out of the direct air path or something like that ... does this sound familiar? Finally got my DP and need to get it and the test pipe on. I'd love to not throw codes...

Hmm. Haven't heard anything like that yet. I got your message yesterday, btw. Haven't had a chance to call you back yet.

Finally found the thread:

"The mechanical o2 fix is taking two 18mm spark plug antifoulers, help part# 42009(if i remember right), you'll drill the inside of one of them to 1/2", screw that one into the other one, and then into the o2 bung. it restricts the amount of exhaust the o2 sensor sees and tricks it. it's worked for me so far."

Anyone have any commentary on this?

Thanks!

Hmm. Interesting. Sounds like the guy who thought it up is having good luck with it.

Exactly - thought I'd see if anyone had an opinion ...

would seem to be a halfassed way to make a pipe similar to helix's. Basically he's just trying to divorce some of the exhaust flow from the rest of the pipe and create a dead-zone of sorts in hopes that the 02 sensor will read different than the front. The only reason he's using spark plug parts is because they're the same thread and pitch.

I'm surprised your brain flash doesn't have a means of ignoring the secondary 02 sensor built in.

What's Helix got?

And if I asked for it from them and sent it off I'm sure it could be flashed that way, yes ...
