I was wondering if anyone has used this lsd. Or this kind of lsd. Its around $200 and i have herd good things from the hond-a guys but not any of the good dsm guys. So before i purchase this i was just wondering who has used it, and any info. Thanx.

I know Natedogg had one in his FWD and we've put one in my dad's supercharged Miata with good results.

I've heard good and bad with no direct experience. IMO, I'd just get a welded differential. The Phantom grip puts unnecesary strain on the already brittle diff, but that's just my .02

So far the one I have in the mx6 is great.I have the upgraded green springs in mine plus i have no power Steering now so it was night and day compared to stock. biggthumpup.gif

OK, proof that I still don't know everything
how do you know if you have LSD in your car....
I remember a sticker in the door jam that mentioned a tow warning and it also mentioned LSD.... is that in reference to the front or the rear.

the LSD that this post is in reference to, is it for the front or the rear

I don't think he'd want a welded diff in his FWD. That would make turning pretty hard.

I had a phantom grip in my old FWD. It worked great. I definitely got more straight line traction with it.

GSXracer- He's talking about the front diff in his fwd, its an open diff from the factory. The lsd that the door jamb sticker refers to in awd's is the rear diff.

It involves taking the transmission out and apart. Here's the vfaq.
