Are full sized cars supposed to be powered by only four turbocharged cylinders?

I think that a DSM would qualify as a Sports Car, a Tuner Car or a HotRod, but a muscle car it is not.

They were talking about early mid 60's to early early 70s cars. When mpg was not in the american vocabulary and cruisin was the thing to do on a friday night.

Honestly, the muscle car hype is fueled by middle age men who wish to be 18 again. Cars weren't that fast unless modified or rare, brakes sucked, and handling was akin to steering a washing machine.

I enjoy mine, but it's not for everyone. I guess not having an inferiority complex helps. I know it's old, slow, creaks, smells, loud, single digit mpg on 93+, and isn't reliable but hey, it's got character.

I've never had a muscle car but I have always and still do hold them with respect from a time of very agressive sportsmanship and a special feeling of arrival for drag racing!
