sweet deal man.... thanks....

I really think that that guy did a great install.
unfortunately he had to cut the bumper to make it fit... I didn't think that the FMIC out of the EVO was that big.

As far as EBAY... I do a lot of ebay shopping, but I don't have a lot of access to it here... they have "web sence" here and outlaw online auction sites

but a guy on that thread that you posted mentioned the http://www.evolutionm.net/ link and says that you can find them there for $150 shipped sometimes.

I really wonder how the piping will work, looks like it will be way different, especially for the lower plumbing

I checked ebay real quick and they have a few that are buy it now and its going for 175. I havent visited the evo forums there, but im sure there are plenty of people with upgraded IC on their evos that they are willing to get rid of the stockers.

Piping wise, i really doubt you would get lucky and the piping will work, im sure you can use pieces of it, but i would imagine it would be some custom work there. If i remember correctly the engine mounts on the opposite side on an evo???

just for grins and smiles, I checked ebay myself and found the same.

Ebay accually worked this time.

I will do somemore research and find what I can.

it looks like the one on ebay for $175 is an after market replacement intercooler, not sure if the dimmentions there are the same as the stock evo 8

that seems like a great pool of trickle down parts for us bottom feeder 1G owners, but unfortunately you can't post on a "for sale" forum until you have 50 posts on the site....
I guess it is a safe guard feature for their members

the other thing is that you can not send a PM until you get out of their "moderator pool"
