Very Big thanks to 99Spyder for coming through on the random Garage pictures of our members rides on the home page! biggthumpup.gif

With this new feature running, I highly recommend that everyone update their garage pictures. Make sure your main picture is of a current vehicle. A flattering shot is always nice. LukePhillips main picture is beautifull. Incredible looking Eclipse, with excelent clarity, clean background and a surprisingly nice border.

Now I need to find some current pictures of my raggedy ride!

Just as a note, set the image that you would like to appear on the main page as your "Hilite Image". That will place it in the pool of available images.

I''m jealous that I didn't get to be the first to say my thanks. spyder... nice job... you have succeeded where I didn't come through at all..

I really appreciate what you did. I know there are a few, but us few that actuallly understand the hard work and time you put into this... really.. thanks... about all I can say....

Looks good! Is this pulling pics from the garage or the gallery?
turbohcar
Garage. It's set to whatever your "Hilite" image in your Garage gallery is (the one that's displayed under your forum name and avatar).

Is anyone else seeing the shadow (black text) being kind of far from the white text? It comes in right behind it on my home systems but from work I am seeing a lot of space between the text. Just wondering...
turbohcar
I'm not seeing it from any of my computers (work or home). Looks normal to me.

Cool thanks! I am going to try to locate a text style (font) that has an outline already built into it.

Wow...do you ever just sit and refresh the home page to see all the members rides? We have got a lot of awesome cars in our group. Funny thing is that only about 10% of the members even have a picture of their ride in the garage! The quality is incredible though. biggthumpup.gif

LOL, I've done that just to look at everybody's car before. I'd have to say we're pretty lucky to have that many quality cars in the group.

I have to admit that I am also guilty... I noticed yesterday that there was one new car added and I refreshed for about five minutes until it popped up wacko.gif

Spyder has taken care of our need to refresh the homepage to see all the DSMCentral members rides. If you haven't already noticed, there is now a link at the top of the home page under the DSMCentral header. This link will display all the members cars that are listed in the garge. It's a pretty sweet addition.

Rock on Spyder! biggthumpup.gif

The picture is an animated .gif created in Paint Shop Pro Animation Shop. I just took the 4 images and used the fade transition feature between each image.
