I'm getting back home for good on the 24th, and I thought we should have a celebratory get-together in honor of the occasion. I KNOW Nate has missed me, and Dan's going to want to see my wife again, so why fight it?
I'm thinking that following weekend (29-30) could work or sometime thereafter. We'll have people out to our place for apple juice, graham crackers, and some old-fashioned mud wrestling. There will be a memorial service for the fallen goat, and the Rev. Dirty Tire will give a message to ease our pain.
I'm TOTALLY flexible for the dates on this (Except Nov 5,6) and I need all of your input to find the best date for everybody.

Well, there's no reason not to accomodate Ben as well!! Let's shoot for 19 November. There, we have a firm, hard, throbbing date set for the DSMCentral Goatfest/ Camel Humping Fair. You see, we can pretend that Ben and I are both coming back from Iraq because I was right where he is myself for 17months not too long ago.
Come see both of our brave little soldiers as they struggle to put their broken lives back together in the wake of a terribly tyranny in the Middle East.
Yeah, whatever.............
We'll supply hot dogs and burgers plus sodas. Anyone wanting to bring a side dish is encouraged to do so. Significant others and chitlens are more than welcome, although I won't have much for the kids to do. BYOB. Parking will be at a premium, so prepare to make a short walk if needed.
Come see the excitement, the fun, the "Is Spy really doing that to your dog?" amazement!! SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!!!!!! I mean, Saturday, Satur.......er..... that doesn't sound as cool. Anyways, if you're not there you better be dead or in jail, and if you're in jail, BREAK OUT!!!

Alright, gentlemen. The Goat is back in town. Rolled in at about 5 last evening. I awoke this morning to find my wife in a black teddy draped across a brand new Evo sitting in my driveway!!! The sleek, blue paint shimmering in the early autumn sun was absolutely breathtaking! Then I really woke up to my wife's knee planted firmly against my spine.
Good thing dreams are free.
So, I need a firm count of who all is going to attend. Still planning on the 19th. A large, spankin'-new grill was purchased this evening just for this event. There's going to be a raffle for a new bass boat and face painting for the kids.* Come on out and have a great time.
*All bass boats and face painters listed herein are to be assumed imaginary objects not actually at GoatFest '05. GoatFest'05 assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items. MSRP. Tax, tile and liscense extra.

Okay, so even more details for yo ass. Nov. 19 2-6pm. Again, we'll provide burgers and dogs, if you want, bring a side dish. I apologize for my own abscense in promoting this, but things have been more chaotic that I could have imagined since I've been home. There's a new (and very much unexpected) roof being put on the GoatBarn right now, and my energy and time are both limited commodities.
Also, If I could get attendance confirmations, that would be a great help.

I'll confirm attendance. I will try to bring some ho's, too. Cause that's how I roll.

Yeah, I remember when I used to hang out with Natedogg too. He's gone now. Replaced with a more obedient, less daring, shadow of himself. He does occasionally reappear on tight on-ramps, Farmdale Rd., and long stretches of empty country road. The tragedy of Natedogg.

Some directions for yo' ass.
I live in Peoria, IL .... which is a suburb of Chicago - Exellent!
Anyhew, I live off of Sheridan on Eleanor.
If you're heading towards downtown on Sheridan, you pass Forrest Hill, McClure, and just before you reach Nebraska, you'll see Eleanor on the right. Turn here if you plan on attending. Our address is 820. Once again, parking is at a premium, so if you can carpool, I would encourage it.
Perhaps we'll have a contest to get MY wife drunk!?!?!
Then Rob could finally take advantage of her the way he spoke of on his birthday. Filthy bastard.

I've got some terrible news, folks. It looks like I'm going to have to cancel tomorrow's party. My wife is in the hospital, and she won't be getting out until tomorrow, so I don't want to have to worry about entertaining guests while she's resting. Sorry to cut this off on such short notice, but I hope everyone will understand.
Thanks,
Joe

Well, she wouldn't even be there if she'd just have dinner ready on time!
No, she's having some intestinal problems, but it's totally treatable through meds. Thanks for the concern.

My apologies to those of you who didn't get this in time and showed up anyway. Sorry to have wasted your time/gas. I may look at rescheduling, but for now, I don't think it'll happen at all this year.
