7.97 in car

NOT an Evo, sorry to any who saw this - that was my first impression. It's a Buschur-built Talon.

Still Amazing.

Awesome run! You could tell he was happy at the end. Slowing down from 150+ mph with hands clapping instead of on the steering wheel.

I wouldn't call it Buschur built. Pretty sure Shep does his own work. Some Buschur parts and Buschur-sponsored sure.

Folks on the machV website are claiming that it was the fastest/quickest race in the hotrod class to date. Pretty damn impressive from two sport compacts. Also props to his opponent for breaking 7s with a sunfire. What the hell was that guy running?

Wow!!! I was betting he would hit the 7's after hearing about the 8.14 run, but I never thought it would happen so soon. AWD chassis like the ones we run here locally putting down 7's!!!

I watched that vid about 10 times in a row. Got my addrenalyn pumping listening to Shepard go through the gears while watching that FWD dragster pull away from a car running 7.97!

Well, Buschur takes some credit in a post about it ... no big deal ...
