will this work in a dsm??????

intercooler
AWD DSM 1
Seems aweful tall, and thin. I don't think you'll be getting the most out of it because half of it will be behind the bumper, plus I don't know if there's room up there to fit it. The piping would all have to be custom as well.

I think I'd stick to something more rectangular, and thicker... there are a lot of used intercoolers floating around that can be had for a good deal, and will give you a lot less headaches than that. biggthumpup.gif

cool thanks.

What has to be done for a starion fron mount to fit and are they worth it?

You might want to check out gsxracer80's thread on putting an evo8 fmic on his dsm. as it's a similar process, though the evo8 fmic is inarguably better.

I put a starion fmic back on my gsx back in the day and found it to be pretty easy, but make sure you have plenty of tubing bends, couplers and clamps before you take everything apart and find out that what you have doesn't work.

Thanks.

By the way this is Scorp28 and I am asking about a 2G (i am using my brother in laws name at the moment)

I'll sell you my IC and some of the piping if you're interested. Its larger than a starion and similar in size to the Evo. Easy to mount. PM me if you're interested.

Starion fmic's flow less CFM than a supra sidemount unless you get new endtanks welded on.

Thanks for the info guys.

A or B what do you guys think

A

B
AWD DSM 1
B is the one that you can switch the end tank and use on a DSM.
turbohcar
B is the one I have and I imagine it's a lot better than A in terms of capability to support horsepower.
