I dont know whats causing this but when Im driving and I push in the clutch my car idles down really low (200 or 300 rpm). If Im on it and push in the clutch it goes all the way down and dies. Ive tried turning up the idle and it helped a little but not good enough. I dont want to keep the idle set for 1000 rpm. I was told that it could be my clutch slipping, but it seems to be operating fine when Im driving. If anyone has any advice I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

I had the same problem a while back. And I found it to be my bov return line. Check all your hose clamps and make sure there tight. You have a leak some where before your turbo.

Absolutely check all the plumbing before the throttle body as bud suggested. You may turn your idle back down.... it's kind of not a factor in the car dying from clutch disengagement. wink.gif

Ok Ill check everything and I didnt think it had anything to do with the clutch. Thanks for the help and Ill let you know how it turns out.

Thanks,

are you runing the crushed bov??
treydawgs4g63T
yes the BOV is crushed(really crushed).

do u have the dump tube on or off? if its off that why i wont idle. i think the crushed bov is only for the bov to hold more boost. u cant vent it to the aspshere unless u have a blow throu set up

The dump tube was on yesterday and it was doing it. Today we took it off and it still is. Ill try putting it back on to see if that will make it better. Ive still got to check all my lines though.

That is the reason for your car dying.

It dies with or without the dump tube. Thats why its so mind boggling.

Do a boost leak test on it. That will let you know where your leak is. Boost leak test

i would just take off all the vacum lines and block off the egr off, it sounds like a boost leak
