I am looking for a few people that have a minute or two to test out what we have for a gallery at the moment. Things are very subject to change and might be pulled back offline if major issues are found. The DSM Photos link on the navigation menu will get you to the gallery.

Please:
-Verify that you are automatically logged in (user name at top of page)
-Try creating a personal album or two
-Add an image to each album created
-Reply with feedback/issues to this forum


*Note1: The page layout and color scheme will be updated once funcationality is proven.
*Note2: Admins (Mike + awd4kicks) can only add to the main Albums at this time.

Works good for me. Comments work good, pictures look good. Only problem I saw was the text in the pic upload page is black and the background is dark blue, making it very hard to read. But, as you said, appearances will change soon anyway. Looks good Spyder!

It logged me in automatically...and I rated one of the pictures with a comment.

You need to be in admin mode (you are in admin mode if you have a "user mode" button at the top of the page.) If you are in admin mode you can click the upload file button also at the top right of the page.

OK, that does not make much sense to me. How large is the image that you are trying to upload? I think that there is a 2Mb (2048kb) limit.

They are only 60.7kb

It will suck if it makes a difference but can you try renaming one of the files without spaces?

The name of the image you are uploading is: DSM Image1 Large e-mail view.jpg right?

it only gave me a 1024kb limit

I have seen the rating and Mitsu90's album. Does anyone else have pictures uploaded?

BudmannG, go ahead and give the pic upload another shot when you get a minute. I reloaded the gallery software, checked the file permissions, and changed some of the picture configuration values. Hopefully it will work for you.

I am seeing that many of you created albums but only see pictures from Mitsu90. Are others having the same problem as Bud? I removed all of the my images/albums and readded them OK...

Any additional testing help is greatly appreciated


Edit: If up loading pictures it might help to click the 'My Gallery' button before clicking the 'Upload File' button.

It works great for me this morning. I got to put all my pictures on and got to leave a comment under the events folder.
I could not leave feedback for you or mitsu90. I just figured it was events only that you can leave feedback in. And you just set it up this way.
But if anybody can find the glitch, bug, worm, or virus it's me, LOL!
That site was a great idea. If anyone wants to view my cars they are posted.

It worked great for me. That's a pretty slick addition to the site.

I am glad to hear that things seem to be working pretty well now. It is nice to look into the user gallery and see 6 or 7 members with pictures instead of the same old test images I was using...

You guys with videos to host can give them a shot as well but keep em clean
