A few months ago I talked to someone on this site that knew a place that had the "crankwalk fix ". I was just wondering if anyone knew so I can get it done to the motor that Im building.

a 6 bolt swap is the only crankwalk fix I would trust.

I would but I dont have a 6 bolt motor laying around and the one I got is going with the AWD. I do have a 7 bolt laying in my garage though and am willing to try this product out.

I got a blown 6 bolt I would sell you, would make a great 2.3l stroker.

I would but Ive already got a motor and would rather put the money into it. I know it could boil into a big mistake someday but like I said Im willing to try. Plus most of the parts I throw on that motor are able to be put on a 6bolt and when the time comes to do the 6bolt swap Ill be ready.

thats cool but if you build a 7 bolt make sure you get on of these.

Me and my guy TJ seemed to have made a fix.We hacked out the center section of the main girdle and made it into just like a regular main cap. It worked on a motor that WAS walking and lasted for over 3 years and the car was sold and I never heard anything else about it. biggthumpup.gif
At the very least you dont have to replace all of the bearings and you can just pull the thrust washer bearing out and replace it when you start getting end play. biggthumpup.gif
