well I sold the tranny out of the blown up auto, and I need to get it pulled by Friday morning. never pulled a DSM tranny, any tips and any offers to come help would be great. if anyone want to come play in the snow give me a call I will be out there today and tomorrow.

You've got quite a project ahead of yourself for the first time. It always takes the longest and seems to be the hardest when you do it for the first time. You'll be allright though. Have a floor jack handy (it always helps me to slide one under the transmission when you get ready to take it out) and follow your Haynes manual.

ok heres the deal I need to pull the bitch along with the Xman and injectors all before Friday morning, I have to meet up with the guy in galesburg at 11am. so if someone wants to make $25 I could use some help. the only thing is I work 3rd shift and won't be home until 10ish am(Thursday) so if anyone wants $25 or a part off the Auto talon come lend me a hand and it's yours, how ever no major parts, I won't give you the 4 bolt for some help but would give the ECU BOV stuff like that.I just don't know what I am doing and really don't have the time to try and figure it out.

2 bolts? You've got a long ways to go.

Pull both halfshafts, pull the downpipe off, pull the transfer case off, transmission mount, the four bolts that hold the tranny to the engine, the two starter bolts, all the IC plumbing on top, shifter linkage, battery tray, and the four torque converter bolts. BTW, I've only ever used a prybar to get the halfshafts out of the transmission, you shouldn't need it for anything else.

well I didn't make the friday dead line. however i did cut a deal with the guy and he is on his way here to lend a hand pulling it. so the tranny will be pulled today (I hope) if anyone want to lend a hand I will provide cocoa and cookies.
