ok heres the deal I have 2 TSI AWD's one is a 5 speed and one is an auto. as most know the auto is dead. it was gonna be me DD and the 5 speed was gonna be my toy. I have started to part out the A/T to help fund getting the M/T on the road. I do not want to see the A/T get crushed. so should I....


A. get the M/T on the road and put the A/T back together for a DD

B. since the tranny has been sold and the 6 bolt is dead. build the shit out of the A/T

C. crush the A/T and put the money into the M/T and make it both my DD and my toy

These cars area addicting... having 2 money pits seems like a bad idea to me. Don't feel bad about crushing the a/t, it's for a good cause.

keep in mind I've crushed about 5 or 6.... it gets easier.

would be be worth it to return the A/T to stock 13b 390's and nothing more than a mbc k&n and a boost gauge?

If you could find a transmission, I'd put the A/T back together and sell it as a whole. You might be able to make more money that way than crushing it.... but then again it is an A/T.

Go ahead and crush it so I can achieve my goal of fastest A/T on DSMCentral. Well at least the fastest A/T convertible. Wait a minute... even with the engine out I think that I have that record...
