**Light front end damage**
A good friend of mine recently hit an ice patch and tapped a light pole in a parking lot with his 97 Ford Escort. It appears to have broken a tie rod, deflated the front driver's side tire, and possibly bent the rim. This car has been his daily driver between Peoria and Bloomington for the last 6 years and has been well maintained. The plan was to drive it until about June when he moves to Bloomington and then get rid of it. However, since this accident happened he is done with it. It is possible that there is more or less damage than described but he is not interested in finding out. At this point he just wants the garage space back.
