I found an AWD at a junk yard today that is in almost mint condition. Not sure of the reason its in there but it has a junk title. The guy said he wouldnt sell the whole car as a parts car. Its a 91 eclipse gsx. All the body pieces are almost perfect, he is selling the engine for 600.00, the complete rear end for 400.00 ( includes: diff., axles, shocks and struts, and wheel assemblies), and then anything else that may be needed. Although it is a 3 bolt rear end do you guys think it is worth 400.00$ for all the rear end pieces?

Not sure if its to any help but I think it only had 77,000 on it but might have said 177,000 miles. BudmannG this could be a good deal on a complete motor for your talon!!!

They have a complete rear end on an automatic AWD also. same price im sure.

No, first of all, you can find 4-bolt rear ends all day for $300. The 4-bolt rear is a great upgrade for the money, save your money and buy one of those.

Second, the Auto AWD rear ends are NOT the same as the manual trans ones. Look on www.vfaq.com for further information. $600 isn't bad for a complete running motor w/turbo though.

You are lucky to be able to give the 3 bolts away usually... Auto's you usually have to pay to have taken away.

I liked Darst and Ace. A-1 were always assholes to me.

Rhodes Auto S/S/S in Streator might have one. I know they had an AWD Talon at one time.
